James Bond Island/Khao Phing Kan
James Band Island, also known as Khao Phing Kan/Ko Tapu in Thai, is located in Phang Nga Province. Located around 25 km north-east of Phuket, it lies just between the southern Thailand’s mainland and Phuket Island. It’s called the “James Bond Island” in English because it was the filming location of the famous James Bond movie “The Man with the Golden Gun”.
